Health Professions Students
The Indiana AHEC Network supports students in health professions programs in many different ways! Our centers have developed programs such as interprofessional education activities, lunch and learns, and simulation days for students to participate in. Our regional AHEC staff also mentor students and offer support for students while they are completing their programs.
Clinical Rotations
Clinical experiences give students the opportunity to rotate in community-based clinics on interprofessional teams, as well as learn about rural and underserved populations.
The Indiana AHEC Network help to place medical and allied health students in clinical rotations all over the state, with a focus on primary care, behavioral health, and rural/underserved areas.
